Equipped with long-range AIM-54 Phoenix air-to-air missiles and a cutting-edge Radar Homing and Warning (RHAW) system, the Grumman F-14 Tomcat is a twin-engine, variable-sweep wing, carrier-capable supersonic fighter developed for the U.S. Navy’s Naval Fighter Experimental program.

With a top speed of 1,544 mph, the Tomcat could engage multiple threats from over 90 miles away, serving as the Navy’s premier maritime air superiority fighter, fleet defense interceptor, and tactical reconnaissance platform.

Engineered to counter agile enemy aircraft, anti-ship cruise missiles, and strategic bombers, the Tomcat was a dominant force in the skies, remaining a cornerstone of U.S. Naval Aviation well into the mid-2000s.

The JETs

Vol. 25-03 was cut from BuNo 160900. This jet served with the VF-142 Ghostsriders and the VF-32 Fighting Swordsmen and is offered in VF-142 Grey, VF-32 Grey, VF-142 Vertical Stabilizer, and VF-32 Vertical Stabilizer. These JETs come on cards that feature the F-14 as it was painted with the squadrons it served. The Vertical Stabilizer JETs feature full color printed art that matches what was on the jet while it served with VF-142 or VF-32. The VF-142 Grey JETs come with wing swept art and the VF-32 JETs come with wings spread art. Like our original Tomcat release, only 140 of these are available, 100 of which are Stabilizers (50 of each squadron).

Only 140 JETs were cut from these panels and many variants will sell out quickly.
